DC10 Closed

The long arm of the law has dealt a crushing blow to this summer’s Ibiza party scene by closing one of the island’s most popular clubs.

DC10 Circoloco has been shut down by the Spanish government on the grounds that it only served three days of a 60-day closure last year and must serve the next 57 days of the sentence to make up for it.

The question is why the authorities waited until the summer to slap the ban on the club considering it was open throughout the winter including New Years Eve.

Andrea Pelino, from Circoloco, told Ibiza-Voice he was gutted by the news and seems to think plod is hell-bent on causing maximum aggro and distress.

“I feel like DC10 is the monster of the island, like they hate us. I don’t understand why this always happens … you have to ask why they chose to shut us now,” he said.
