Tomorrow night (Friday 4th) sees leading trance label Anjunabeats take over The Gallery in emphatic fashion at Ministry of Sound. The party is the official launch bash for label honchos Above & Beyond’s blissed out side project LP as Oceanlab, alongside singer Justine Suissa.

Tony from Above & Beyond told us, “OceanLab has been a part of the Above & Beyond family since the very start. ‘Satellite’ is probably our most popular song when we DJ, even now, so it was only a matter of time before we did an album with Justine. With ‘Tri-State‘ out of the way we started writing for the album in earnest two years ago. Justine has a unique lyrical perspective and we’ve decided to make that centre stage as much as possible, so the album is again a very personal statement by us. We hope you like it.”

The new LP, Sirens of the Sea, is positively dripping with vocal smash hits in the making and finally hits shops on July 21st, and Above & Beyond will be joined in the legendary Box by firm Anjunabeats faves Super 8 & DJ Tab, Martin Roth and James Grant.

Meanwhile in the bar there’s another Anjunabeats LP to be launched in the shape of Jaytech’s acomplished ‘Everything is Ok’.

He’s mildly excited at the prospect of the night too. “What can I say? This is my first gig at Ministry of Sound in London and I’m really looking forward to it. I’ll be dropping some tracks from my album along with some special edits I’ve created for the night.”.

Get tickets now as this week’s Gallery is sure to be a roadblock. “Friday will be a great gig,” says A&B’s Paavo. “We’re looking forward to being let loose on the soundsystem, and with our label mates joining us for a complete Ministry of Sound takeover, we’ll be giving London a full taste of the Anjunabeats sound”.
