It’s all a bit Hazey

The problem with sheep is that they are all a bit samey, put simply they all do the same thing as each other, namely eat and … sleep.
According to German producer and jazz-electronica guru Jay Haze these woolly animals are the problem with the electronic music scene - too much of the same old, bread and butter pap people have become used to, no room for innovation, no room for paradigm breaking.
Speaking in an interview with the good folk over at 365mag.com Jay, who lets fans download his album for free from his website, thinks things are taking a turn for the worse in the electronic genre due to sheep being scared of eating anything other than grass.
When pressed on claims he described minimal techno as being boring he rejected the idea that it was dull but did say the scene is in a state of disarray.
"For sure things are going in a downward spiral in the moment. There is little or no originality in this scene, and when one does present an original idea, the people reject it," he said.
Not finished with tearing into the uniformed ones who push his buttons so badly, the Berlin-based producer couldn’t resist a jibe involving our favourite farm animals
"This is the nature of sheep, they only graze a new hill when the shepherd allows them to."
