Ministry heads to India

Dance music hub the Ministry of Sound is to spread the electronic word in India after teaming up with Vh1 to perform three gigs in Hyderabad, Kolkata and New Delhi in early July.
After more than 17 years of shaking London’s Elephant and Castle the ministry is to spread its gospel far and wide and is taking Paul Jackson and Scott Simmons along to deliver the sermon, according to Indiantelevision.com.
Clearly excited by the event, which will be the first initiative of the channel’s Dance 101 feature, Ferzad Palia, who works for the channel, is urging beatfreaks to make the most of what should be a cracking time.
"Vh1 Dance 101’s first event ever is your ticket to great music, international DJs and a party that you’ll never forget," he told the website.
After claims more Brits are looking for adventures in foreign parts when it comes to festivals and shows, this one looks as good as anything out there.
