This summer dance fans will surely be walking in a Pete Tong wonderland with the release of the veteran’s debut disc from his new project, jam packed with essential summer grooves.

Known to one and all, the 48-year-old has taken the Wonderland name and slapped it on a new compilation just in time for the sunshine.

Released through his Wonderland brand, which is also the name of his club night at the Ministry of Sound, Pete hasn’t deviated far from his house roots with a kind of ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ mentality.

A two CD offering, old Pete opens up with Eric Prydz’s Europa which is followed by an intense slap in the face of deep house with Not Forgotten by Leftfield, Dancenova.com reports.

Other tunes on disc one include Time Skylark by Skonky Zero, Interlater by Skylark, Grindhouse by Radio Slave and Sample Whore by the Japanese Popstars.

Dr Kucho’s Best Monday of my life opens up disc two and is followed by a remix of Syke ‘n’ Sugerstarr’s No Love Lost and Ananda Project’s Where the Music Takes You.

So those who are looking for a funky-house, deep-house mash-up for those summer house parties know where to look.
