Tiesto praises the web

The internet has made it easier for techno-heads to reach their favourite DJs and find out where they are playing, this is according to their emperor/ruler/king Tiesto.
Currently wooing crowds in the US, the Dutch master took time out to talk to the Boston Herald about how the world wide web has allowed techno tribes to find out what’s going on, with who, what, where and why.
The Breda-born man told the site the internet has allowed fans to connect to the music.
“It’s more accessible now than it was five or six years ago…thanks to the internet, people are more connected to the music. They are finally able to listen to it and find out where DJ’s play,” Tijs Verwest, to give him his real name, said.
He also poured scorn on those who claim the music he loves died a natural death over a decade ago: “It’s just the writers of a lot of magazines are trying to be cool”.
Trying and obviously failing according to the great one.
