Sunrise festival to merge with Big Chill

It has been revealed that the Sunrise festival will be held after all and will be held at the Big Chill at the start of August.
The festival, which was due to be last weekend, was cancelled because of flooding in Somerset and will now be held in Hertforshire.
It is though the event will have a similar programme of artists and shows, as well as the environmental aspect which sets it apart from other events this summer.
With the two festivals combined partygoers will now be able to see The Orb, Dub Pistols, Leonard Cohen and the Mighty Boosh in one place.
Katrina Larking, co-founder of the Big Chill, said: “We really felt for them when we heard the news at the weekend but we are so pleased to be able to help out and are absolutely delighted to be welcoming them into the Big Chill as part of our happy family.”
In other festival news, it has been announced that Creamfields will be a two-day event this year, for the first time.
