Police are warning clubbers about a danger batch of pills after one man died and two others were left in serious conditions after taking them in two London nightclubs.

Lambeth police are trying to raise awareness of the tablets which have distinctive marks on them and are encouraging clubbers to avoid them.

A spokesman for the police urged ravers to seek immediate help should they feel unwell after taking tablets and warned them about the new, potentially fatal batch on the scene currently.

"The tablets we are concerned about are described as pink with small white dots on them. Another is a white tablet with the letter G pictured on it with various numbers appearing on the reverse of the pill," he told PinkNews.co.uk.

A man in his 30s died after taking the drug at the Fridge nightclub in Brixton while a man in his 20s collapsed at the Fire club in Vauxhall.

There were over 250 ecstasy-related deaths reported between 1999 and 2004.
