Hands up who thinks there aren’t enough peripherals and gadgets for the iPod. Hands up who thinks we need more. Hands up who actually plays the ‘iQuiz’ game on their iPod, but dreams of it going a step further one day (it’s in there, believe me - Menu > Extras > Games). Well folks, the day you have always dreamed of has arrived, in the form of the wittily-named ‘iNo’. No really, it is witty.

‘So what is it and how does it work?’ you ask, and I’m glad you did. It’s basically exactly the same as the iQuiz, but with multiplayer functionality and a few extra categories to toy with, such as guessing year of release, or the album the track is from. The unit looks resplendent with its not-at-all brittle looking plastic buzzers and spherical docking station, so you can rest assured it can take pride of place on your mantelpiece without upsetting that postmodern, minimalist, space-age fusion you’ve got going on in your front room.

The best news of all is that it’s available in a multitude of colours (well, 3), so no matter what your chosen decor, it can blend in with minimal fuss.
