How I Spent New Years Eve…
Soooo many people said to me ‘What are you thinking of, working on New Years Eve??!’. But I have to say I always find when you organise massive nights out on NYE they always let you down. The build-up somehow ruins it. I am more of a spontanious girl myself… So why not!? Plus I always have fun when I’m working, so how bad could it be?
Well let me tell you, it was so much fun and I just laughed all the way through. Check out the video now where we also take a look back at the many many highlights of 2007 on MoS TV.
From Snowbombing to Southport to summer festivals, the whole of Ibiza and loads of wild nights down at the Ministry of Sound too. I’t great to look back at the fun we’ve had interviewing great DJs and partying with you all around the world!
And the NYE party wasn’t a bad way to celebrate it all either - we had Pete Tong on the decks bringing in 2008 by broadcasting live on BBC Radio 1. His set was massive and every track brought back some memory of 2007. We had a great chat with him, but not for long as he’d just arrived from Miami, played midnight at Ministry of Sound and then wizzed off to Birmingham. What a night for him!
Having now celebrated welcoming in 2008, Pedro and I were well on the way to feeling in the party mood. We had a real giggle going round the club chatting to clubbers. The fabulous SOS threesome, Demi, Desyn Masielo and Omid 16B, followed on from Tong’s set. All the DJs that night were on form as always and there was a real buzz around the club. We even grabbed a word with out old mate D Ramirez who we’ve hung out with all over the place.
What a way to bring in 2008. I think I should work every New Year! And my resolution for 2008? Mmmmm…….More parties and even more dancing!!
See you on the dance floor and make sure you tune in to MoSTV in 2008…
V xx
