Bottletop Brazilian CD Launch Bash

The charity Bottletop are reknowned for raising funds for their sexual health education programmes for young people around the world by staging tasty fashion and music events.
As well as producing a range of really cool bags made from recycled bottletops (you may have seen them swinging from discerning arms about town) and clothes, they’ve also joined forces with Mr Bongo Recordings to release Sound Affects: Brazil, a double album featuring original Brazilian tracks and remixes by DJs such as Fatboy Slim, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly and Tom Middleton. No artist or remixer was paid for their trouble, and all proceeds from the album go towards youth sex education in Brazil.
And if Brazilian beats and charity fundraising sound like your cup of tea, then head down to Guanabara bar in London this coming Wednesday (21st) for the launch party where several artists featured on the album will be playing live including performances from Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Yam Who, Bazeado and Tina Grace, plus Brizilian DJ sets from Cliffy and the Mr Bongo DJs.
There will be a silent auction, casino roulette and blackjack table too. Bottletop threw a cracking first party on launching Sound Affetcs: Africa on the top floor of Libertys, so their second shindig looks like it should be a big hit. Get your Samba hips moving and support a good cause at the same time!
