Video for DJs with ClipMash

Clubbing is getting more spectacular by the day. Following hot on the heels of the unveiling of Pioneer’s new AV mixer, the future of video sets is looking even brighter as MixMash, the music video/DVD compilation suppliers, have just launched ‘ClipMash’. It’s a bespoke ‘Pick & Mix’ system which allows VJs and more adventurous DJs to choose their own music videos from a selection, have them spliced together on DVD and delivered to their door within 48 hours.
With this new product, clubbers that enjoy a more sensory experience to the norm will be able to reap the benefits of richer, more varied VJ sets. And full audio visual sets seem to be developing and becoming more popular as clubs are embracing technology developments as fast as Richie Hawtin.
For artists who don’t have the time or skills to chreate their own clips, this new content service alows them to explore visuals like never before.
ClipMash launches on Saturday (10th Nov) at the brand new DJ/technology show, BPM in Donnington.
If Daft Punk’s LED light pyramid was anything to go by, or indeed the developments in online reality games like Second Life, which held its first virtual festival this year with real DJ sets, who knows how the face of clubbing will change over the next decade?
