Voting is underway in the UK Festival Awards which is bigger than ever this year since more people than ever before headed into the Great British countryside in ’summer’ for their live music fix (no matter how stupid the weather conditions may actually have made this idea).

The Awards gives you the chance to support the festis that you think deserve to be recognised. With so many different events in the running, nobody could really be asked to compare them, so this becomes a case of voting for the ones you went to.

There were loads of great dance events this year, even if there was also plenty of mud, so it’s worth supporting these as they are up against the usual crop of long-running rock events.
