Fantastic. That’s all I can say about the weekend we just had with the Sancho Panza soundsystem at Notting Hill Carnival.

If any of you were there, you may even have seen me dancing about on the roof of one of the bars…

Matt and Jim, the Sancho DJs, though it would be the best place for us to shoot the proceedings once the streets got really full and I loved it so much with the view of the crowds I spent practically the whole carnival up there!

The madness of Carnival made a nice change from siting in traffic, which is what we did for most of Saturday on our way up to Creamfields. It was the journey from hell, but once we got there we met some of the funniest clubbers I’ve spoken to all summer. Plus the Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, 2 Many DJs and the rest blew us away. Our report on that whole roadtrip should make funny viewing too.

I’m tired out now, but it’s been a blast. Thanks to all who made it a legendary weekend for the MoS TV crews.
