In this job I do get to meet some great people, and I’ve got to say that meeting the legend that is Carl Cox was right up there with the best experiences. What a privilege and what a lovely, lovely geezer.

He told me loads of stuff about how he first came to Ibiza in 1983, living in a Fiat Panda, and just loving being here for the clubs and the music and the vibe.

What I love about Carl is he’s so enthusiastic and his whole life is about music since he started DJ-ing in, can you believe it, 1977!! And he’s still so passionate, always pushing the envelope, always wanting to be creative. It’s not surprising that his Ibiza summer has been absolutely kicking in 2007 - even after 24 amazing years.
